WAK-80

Application

The WAK-80 municipal vacuum tanker is designed for use with an agricultural tractor of at least 80 HP, fitted with a lower drawbar hitch and a minimum of 3 pairs of hydraulic couplers.

The division of the WAK-80 tank into two compartments allows the tanker to be used for emptying domestic cesspits and, once the water pump is running, for washing down surfaces using a lance — or, with a special nozzle fitted, for cleaning drainage inspection chambers with pipelines of up to 100 mm in diameter.

Construction

The WAK-80 is built on the basis of the single-axle PN-80 slurry tanker. The 8,000-litre tank is divided into two compartments: one for clean water with a capacity of 2,000 litres, and one for sludge with a capacity of 6,000 litres. The rear end plate features a 600 mm diameter access hatch for cleaning sludge from the tank.

The JUROP PN 58M compressor, with an output of 6,500 l/min and driven by the tractor PTO shaft, enables the tank to be filled and emptied.

A hydraulically driven water pump with an output of 60 l/min and a pressure of 140 bar supplies the reel — fitted with a 60-metre hose — via a filter and an adjustable safety valve.

Operation

The high-pressure pump, driven hydraulically from the tractor, delivers water to the hose reel by drawing it from the compartment of the tank that is filled with clean water from a hydrant. As the jetting nozzle penetrates a blocked pipeline, it simultaneously pays out the hose. Hose rewind is carried out hydraulically by operating the valve lever located next to the reel drum.

The hydraulically driven pump and the PTO-driven compressor allow simultaneous jetting of the pipeline and suction clearance of the drainage inspection chamber.

In place of a jetting nozzle, a lance can be fitted to the end of the hose for pressure washing of machinery, road surfaces, or other objects.

A special valve arrangement allows the entire water system to be completely drained using the compressor during the winter months.

In accordance with the customer's requirements, the WAK-80 can be equipped with additional devices and auxiliary tools.

The municipal vacuum tanker can be manufactured in a capacity to suit the user's requirements.
