SAK — Municipal vacuum tanker lorries

We undertake the bodywork installation on virtually any new lorry, as well as on used chassis supplied by the customer. The tank capacity is matched to the chassis parameters, with particular attention paid to the vehicle's traction characteristics. Each tank is mounted to the lorry chassis by means of a subframe, using a flexible mounting method that prevents excessive stresses from developing between the chassis and the tank body. The basic bodywork version is a single-purpose vacuum tank, equipped with a vacuum pump. The selection of pump parameters depends on the capabilities of the lorry's hydraulic system or the specification of the power take-off (PTO) drive on the vehicle. In specific cases, a separate engine drive, independent of the lorry, may be used.

The standard specification includes:

  • manually operated opening rear floor
  • internal reinforcing rings
  • dual protection system to prevent compressor flooding
  • coupling valve
  • suction hose

A range of optional extras is available for the basic version. One of the more notable options is a flow meter with a printer, enabling the waste disposal service to be billed with precision.

Vacuum tanker lorries can also be supplied in a dual-purpose version, with the tank divided into two compartments and the addition of a high-pressure pump. Among the many optional extras available, particular mention should be made of a hydraulically operated and locked opening rear floor, as well as hose reels with a suction hose of up to 30 m in length, which significantly extend the operating reach of the unit. It is also possible to build the bodywork with a tipping ram; however, this requires special preparation of the chassis. Purpose-built designs tailored to specific tasks can also be produced.
