Hydraulically submerged hose for slurry tankers

All of the cumbersome tasks associated with handling and transporting a conventional suction hose can be eliminated simply by equipping the slurry tanker with a hydraulically submerged suction hose. This is an additional hydraulically operated arm, fitted to the side at the rear of the tank, from which a 5″ or 6″ diameter suction hose is suspended. The hose moves as the arm is raised and lowered.

The arm can be controlled from the tractor cab or via a spool valve located on the tanker drawbar. The 90-degree swivel of the arm enables the suction nozzle of the hose to be precisely guided into the opening of a liquid storage tank. The suction hose can be used, among other things, for emptying tanks and underground cesspits, as well as for filling sprayer tanks.

The suction hose can be fitted to tankers in both the MIDI and MAXI versions.
