Meprozet WAK-100: performance at a good price
Design based on the proven Meprozet tanker
Units of the WAK type, designed for servicing sewerage infrastructure, are distinguished by a simple, field-proven agricultural design derived from the standard Meprozet tanker.
The well-known "Meprozetka" has been extended with a drain cleaning capability by dividing the tank into two compartments and adding a small, hydraulically driven high-pressure pump.
Intended use and initial versions
Basic units of this type are designed for cleaning sewer pipes with a maximum diameter of 200 mm. These parameters, however, proved insufficient for some municipal enterprises.
The new WAK-100 version — expanded capabilities
In response, the Kościan-based company has launched versions of the WAK tanker with enhanced operating parameters onto the market.
The new version of the WAK-100 trailer, with a capacity of 10 m³, has been equipped with:
- a larger high-pressure pump
- additional options to improve working comfort
Speck pump — specifications
- Output: 120 l/min
- Maximum pressure: 120 bar
- Sewer diameters handled: up to 400 mm
Tank construction and safeguards
Tank compartment division:
- front compartment (clean water) — 2 m³
- rear compartment (sludge) — 8 m³
Pump dry-run protection fitted with visual and audible warning to signal a low water level.
High-pressure hose
- Diameter: ¾ inch
- Length: 80 m
- Hydraulic hose reel mounted on the rear end plate of the tank
Vacuum system and suction arrangement
Jurop vacuum pump: output 8,000 l/min, driven by the tractor PTO shaft
DN-100 suction hose: length 6 m, connected to the rear suction coupling with gate valve
Optional 3-inch hose
- Mounted on a horizontal reel on top of the tank
- Length: 30 m
- Hydraulic pay-out and rewind
Remote control and LS system
The increased number of hydraulic functions led to the introduction of radio remote control.
Benefits:
- Operation by a single operator
- Easier working and time savings
The hydraulic valve block controlling the unit's functions is equipped with an LS (load-sensing) system, which:
- optimises oil flow
- increases the operating efficiency of the high-pressure pump
Flexibility and configuration
WAK-type vacuum tanker trailers in the new version are available across the full range of capacities offered by standard Meprozet trailers.
